Maya: Variety of Lights

Area Lighting

Before.
After Render.

I didn't want to use the original image because I thought it would be better for me to practice with another image, the only problem I had with my image is the white colouring, it did make the image wash out a bit, but the blue added a very nice tint to the metal work on the chairs as well as the character in the cinema.
I also thought to move the chairs at the back further back to make the shadows appear more, plus they were already quite close to the other set.

Maya Pen

The pen is mightier than the sword….
I found the pen quite easy, it was very straight forward, and simple. The main challenge was choice of colour to make it look as real as possible, so it comes in a choice of colours….red or blue?

Maya Magnify Glass

SO after my miserable attempt at my dice, I was quite nervous to start a magnify glass, but (and I dont want to seem too cocky) I think it came out really well.

I also added a wood texture instead of checker texture to the floor to make it look like someone was searching for the magnify glass with a tourch light, or something with similar principles.
